'Til the Morning

I'm having a hard time sleeping, so I decided to write. I really don't have anything to write about. I'll just let my hands type what's running through my mind.

Today, I'm going to hang with the kiddies at school. I'll sit in my daughters class for the morning and spend the afternoon with my son. I love being in school with them! I didn't have anything planned for today, so I'm going to surprise them with my visit.

After all the fuss of radio and tv, teaching music appreciation is what I would really love to do. There is something about music that just sends chills down my spine. I would love to spend all day singing and talking about, thinking about and teaching music. I LOVE music, not just the production. I love vocals and vocal arrangements, harmonies, instruments, lyrics, the ability for an artists to use the voice to envoke feelings into another person. Music makes me happy on my worse days.

After my meeting Thursday, I'm going to do some recording. Oh, I didn't tell ya'll? I've been blessed with so many gifts...and the gift of song is one. Your girl right here can SANG! Maybe, just maybe once I'm done recording, I'll put a song on this blog. Though I don't want to be an entertainer. I would love the chance to do background vocals. If I could turn back the hands of time, I would be the Oprah of the music industry. I would have loved to do music production, song writing, vocal arrangements, background vocals and even direct music videos. For now I will be the chick that references songs for other artists. I'm just starting out, so I'll let ya'll know how its going. How can one person want to do so many differnt things in one life? I don't know if I'm scatter-brained or just have too many damn interest.

Well now that I'm yawning, I guess I'll try to lay back down and get some sleep.
